Battery location question!

Hey guys - I have an 02 X10. It currently has one battery and i'm planning on adding a second this winter. My question is - the battery is currently located in the starboard rear locker - normally not an issue but i'm removing the hard tanks for bags and this is going to cause problems with the bags fitting. Is there a place other than the locker people are using that accommodates a dual battery setup without compromising a lot of storage space? Thanks.

No matter what you will lose some space somewhere. Also keep in mind that you want to balance the weight as much as practical. I would suggest under the observer seat. Both of mine are there and they do not take up that much space.
