I'm more into modern European sports cars. For the same money classic cars are fetching, you can own some pretty serious modern performance.

If you want to see a garage with a little bit of everything for everyone, just google "Sultan of Michigan car collection". I've been to his garage twice with the Detroit area Audi club. It's a very impressive collection of cars. There's a room full of imports, a room dedicated to Corvettes, and a room dedicated to American Muscle cars.

The first year for aluminum wheels (knock offs) was 1964. They were supposed to be available on the 1963 Corvette but Kelsey Hays, the wheel manufacture, could not get them to seal properly. Chevrolet had the aluminum wheel on the 1963 Corvette option list and even had pictures of them in their advertising but never delivered a 1963 Corvette with them.

its a small overbore LQ9 with an Eaton Blower (MP122HH), pushing ~15lbs boost and meth injection. Im guessing injector failed - never really ran well and was always chasing gremlins and grinding rear ends!

Ill be putting same blower back on, but keeping boost modest @ 9-10lbs and getting rid of meth and keeping timing little farther off the ragged edge. Once you pulley down that small, heat becomes a real issue (hence the meth) and other things start failing...better motor builder this time should greatly contribute to reliability and power (guessing ~550 rwhp).
