Im not holding my breath... Who knows, I may just scrap the P&P and drop in some larger bags and use a drop in pump. May take longer, but for the amount of time I surf, its not the end of the world for me.

i don't have the Big and no p&p but the gdig Display jump from 90% to 0% only when draining my starboard Ballast. And this sucks. There are no Air leaks or kinked lines. The last thing i tested was changing the lenco Modul on the starboard side. But this doesn't fixed my Problem. i thought the lenco Modul counting the Ampere houres for the Ballast Pumps. Are there any other relays or something which count the ballast time?
Thx! |

I was told that for 2013, MC is putting back the ballast sending units. I hope they put them back in the 2012s as well. IMO the 2012 are defective and do not provide a reliable reading.

0.24 Firmware
bjames,
since youre in north america and thus somewhat closer to dealer/manufacturer, do you already have GDIG Firmware v0.24? Believing Mastercraft it's supposed to fix the ballast timer problems. Oh and by the way everything went for me so far I'd be very suprised to see MC(Europe(GB)) change much on a sold boat, so probably no new sending units for us I guess ![]() @jibber: our dealer is getting the firmware flasher with v0.24, hopefully it will reach us before end of season ![]()

My MC service tech has no update yet as to when the softwware revision will be available. As for the sending units for the ballast tanks, I saw another thread that suggests that the sending units ARE installed on the 2012 boats, BUT they are not connected to anything - nor there doesnt seem to be anywhere they can be hooked up.

O.K. guys. I think i solved my Problem (Tank showing empty when itīs full). The problem was the lenco modul have an security thing that tells the gdig if the pump are running empty. And this is too sensible. It shuts the pumps up if any air comes through the pumps and the display jumps to zero. What you need is the gdig software update 0.20 or now 0.24. And then itīs important to change once time the options in the gdig menu from the tanks installed to no and hit Save and upload. After that change it to yes and hit save and upload. This upload the new informations to the lenco modul. Since i doing this my ballast timers work. Hopfully it will solve youre problems too. And hoping this was the problem. I have tried it only 2 times but i think it works for me.

if I understand you correctly, you're saying that the Lenco pumps have a switch that measures running current... and when it runs at lower current for any reason, it sends a signal to GDIG to say the tank is empty?
So do you know if the new GDIG version just ignores the lensco pump signal?
