Looks like good old Walmart had some tires for you, safe travels.

When I picked up my used prostar this June none of the lights worked and it had no brakes. I know the feeling because I had 1000k miles to go to get it home. I stopped at Walmart at 10PM and ran a new ground wire to get the lights working. Nothing like working on things in the Walmart parking lot. Congrats

I made it home incident free. It was a long 860 miles back but worth every mile. The boat is a true classic and as most everyone knows, a very desirable hull for slalom. The lines on this model are timeless. It's in very good shape but will need several hours of love. I've never pulled a DHL trailer but I'm very impressed. It pulled like it wasn't even there. The new tires were worth piece of mind and I want to thank Peter for his advice on torque specs and for the reminder to torque again after 50 miles. It was a good thing I did because all but 2 needed to be retorqued. The bow port hub remained hotter than the other 3 throughout the trip. At one point I was getting concerned but pushed on anyway. I appreciate all who followed this post and my drive home. It's encouraging knowing TT'ers are out there supporting the journey. I'm hoping to follow up with a thread of the refurbish, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Actually that's Discount Tire, but I have spent a few hours working on a new project in the Walmart parking lot as well.

Thank you! We try to take care of her the best we can - We are looking and an interior overhaul in the near future; maybe 1 more season before we do it. Everything is all original (we are the 2nd owners - PO was very MCOCD).

I have not run the course at all, anywhere. It's on my bucket list. We have moved up to CHL as full-time residents and I have gotten to know a family at our dock that runs it regularly. I need to get them them to give me a tour and a tow (I am in need of a driver).
