This is a direct replacement for the X30. They just changed some things up.

Maybe this has already been addressed but couple of questions:
1. At 5000lbs and 2600lbs of ballast the 5.7L won't work right? Once you are fully weighted you are pushing 8000lbs roughly.
2. Why is the subwoofer in the bow? I've never seen a boat with the sub in the bow before.
3. Does the XT series make up all the traditional bow X boats and the X series will be all pickleforks?

1. The 5.7 and 6.0 will be too light in my opinion. A 6.2 or bigger would be a much better fit.

2. The 8" sub in the bow adds a nice punch up front in the bow. I don't think there is anything strange or negative about it.

3. Play the "Name the new name game". I'm sure in time it will all be straightened out and make sense.

1- Most all model start with 5.7...Not everyone chooses GEN2, so 5.7 would be fine.
2- the 8" sub in bow is an EXTRA SUB on the /Premium package. adds to the 10"
3- XT looks to stand for Tradition Bow..only 2 boats so far XT10 and XT30

why on earth are they pairing different sized subs... you'd think someone from JL audio would have told them NO!

in this application it does not matter...Its a Bow filler sub...I installed 2 of these in my cockpit and Bow in my last X30 too warm up both Zones, the Stock 10" doing the lower bass
work nice.

I've never seen a boat 2015+ without Gen 2
