WOW!! you have outdone yourself with this post!!! nice work. Have given this a few quick reads and plan on closer examination and then tackle my own install. Thanks for all the details. That WORK thing does tend to eat up lots of, cool boat project, time.

Great Write-up!! Did you wire the new alternator with "one wire" or did you use the four wire connector?

I used the hard wires instead of the harness...one orange wire and one purple...
