I used Uship last year to ship a boat from Tx to Oh. Everything went well. I did not go with the cheapest bid. I went with a shipper that had all positive feedback had 100+ transactions. Many of them were boats. He was about $50 more than the cheapest. Good luck.

I used these guys this year to get my boat from Chicago to Washington DC and was very pleased with the service and the cost.

Shoot me a PM if you want and I'd be happy to share my experience.

I just shipped my 2013 X55 from NJ to CA.

I can't say enough good things about Mitch Levin of AFS Shipping. Mitch organized the whole move for me, got the best rates, and insurance, etc.

They moved the boat in 4 days coast to coast without a single issue, and I was even given the drivers contact phone number.

Thanks for all the tips guys!I started worrying that I was going to run out of time
so I threw it on Craigslist. 4 days and down the road and whent. Not sure if I'm happy or sad. At least I don't have to tow it 2200 some odd miles.

No worries I just shipped an x2 from Tampa fl to Edmonton Alberta Canada about 3,200 miles.

I did commercial plastic sell around the boat and covering speakers 2x then used the cover with straps .. Did the strapping so it didn't hit the boat.

That is the one thing I wish I had done was to wrap the tower. I drove my boat back from KS to MN and I got so many bugs stuck to the tower that it took me hours and hours of scrubbing to get them off.

Mark, sorry to hear you sold the boat. A friend of mine was looking for that exact boat.

I hope the move goes well and you get another boat out there. Keep in touch!
