2011 X15 advice

My wife and I are looking for a larger boat. We are considering the X15. There’s a X15 in Ohio that appears to be in pretty good shape. The boat is on consignment. Does anybody know anything about this specific boat? Is the price reasonable?

I don’t know the boat. But I bought a used x9 from BHM and they made sure everything was up to snuff before I took delivery. Good people. I’m also real close to them. So I could stop by and check it out and talk with them.

Gosh that would be great if you could do that, but how do I know you’re not the current owner of the boat? Don’t mean to be rude, but I have a hard time trusting people these days.

I’m not in town right now so I can’t get there for a few days. But it would give me an excuse to stop by and check out the boats again.

There are a lot of great people on this site that have and will go above and beyond for other members. And BHM has a stellar reputation. If you have trust issues, and there is nothing wrong with that, then you need to do yourself the service of going to see the boat in person. Hope it works out.

Ive spoken with staff at BHM several times and I can already tell they are trustworthy people. If you have time Mcjeff I’d really appreciate it if you could swing in there, though I will probably be taking a trip myself to BHM sometime soon - within the next couple weeks.

BHM is fantastic. I bought my 2008 X-15 from them. Great people, great support. Not sure what is making you feel uncomfortable.

Nice looking X-15 and low hours too. I don't really have a handle on used boat prices, so i can't comment on that.

I bought a used 2008 X14 from Texas Mastercraft, sight unseen, with the help of a forum member. I was comfortable. However, a good friend and former dealer told me "the boat is expensive, flights are cheap, go see it for yourself". Everyone has to decide their level of comfort and trust.
