Surfing a Prostar... Blasphemy

How much weight are you running to be able to surf? Also what board are you using? That's pretty impressive to go ropeless on a machine that's made for no wake!

I'm still trying to figure out the setup to surf my X-14... think it's just too wide and flat to displace enough water.

No weight, I think the boys are about 29kg's each, a inland surfer big red woody, will stay on most waves but it is a pretty basic board but still can be heaps of fun....That's not me in the photo, brad owns a Response LXR and he was very surprised that you can surf behind a Prostar.....We always ski early in the mornings but then do what ever the rest of the day...even pull tubes and knee boards, what ever the kids want to get them away from screens

That's hilarious Tony. My cobber has a prostar, a 2014 black and yellow which looks the bees knees. Beside my x30 it looks pretty small but otherwise is an awesome looking boat. I think he gets more admirers, from the bare-footers and dedicated slalom lads, than I do, especially with the 6.2 in it. Your boat looks sweet as. The whole set up you have is.

Its pretty warm down here too, water temp around 24 which is almost as good as it gets. might make 26 in a couple of weeks. Heading for a week of 30+ to high 30's at the lake so I've decided to have a 6 day Australia Day long weekend.

Enjoy the warm weather.

Board is an inland surfer big red woody, not sure if you can still buy them, it is very buoyant and kids would struggle to get up on it. I bought it when I had an X7.

I'm guessing the red rocket is their equivalent board today. I'm trying to find one but they are tough to come across!
