17 year Cicada emerged this past week. Trees, shed, house, boat, etc covered with them. They have an eerie mating sound for several weeks. My dog ate it (shell and all) after I took the picture. Tastes like chicken?

I've been on several mission trips to Nicaragua where Cicadas are very common. There was a dog that always hung around us that loved to eat them. We would catch them and throw them up in the air where we would snag them.
