Zup Board Reviews?

Anyone use a Zup Board? I've been wanting to get something for kids who have never skied or wake boarded before. I hate tubing and I'd rather they do something that requires some skill.

Thumbsup for the Zup. We've had 5 year olds and 70 year olds riding our first gen. Bouyancy gives it some forgiveness for learning. It even is a blast for experienced watersports folks as the falls can be hilarious when crossing wakes and whatnot. The new gen board has more versatility and small skegs at the rear for more maneuverability. Only downside is it is big and heavy so when aboard ours stays on the decks, or on the dock.

We've had one for 3 years and I 100% suggest them for beginners! The Zup rope is nice to have as well but not mandatory.

Another vote for the Zup board. It is an excellent board for building confidence in riders new to the water instead of sticking them on the tube.

Agree with Moose. We put it under the reversible seat. Works well there. Great board for the younger and older (55+) family members.

I've had one for a couple years now and I have not cared much for it. It's always porpoised on kids I've had out there at varying line lengths. Add to that the spoon-shaped bottom, it is not very responsive to get outside of the wake. Mine is an early version that did not have any type of fin on the bottom... That said, I have one in great shape if you'd like to buy it. Maybe it will work out better for you than it did for me. PM me if you're interested.

Slightly OT, buddy of mine is raving about his new Ronix Fun Board, to the point where he's doing less skiing/surfing/boarding.
