We Back

Hello everyone,
It's been a few years since I've been on the forum due to a busy schedule and not being out on the boat in 3 years. For whatever reason not going out for 3 years made us decide that it was a perfect time to get a new 2016 x23. Pretty much fully loaded with the 7.4. We officially pick it up July 6 on our way out to the river and couldn't be more excited.
I was also hoping that any x23 owners could help me out with the starboard surf wave as it felt a little washed out when I surfed it during the demo. I'm no expert at surfing as it was my first time but I was able to drop the rope on my third time up and was already ready to move on to a more advanced board, so please any tips on the starboard surf wave would be great.
I only have 1 picture for now but will make sure to get some more next time I'm at the boat, and sorry for the weird angle. Again super excited to be back and can't wait to make some new memories on the new boat.

congrats MC Love.....I'm 4 boats later now.
I climbed in that boat!!! Sweet.
I'm sure you got a Killer Deal!!!

If you demoed on Lake Elsinore, it will likely look like crap,

X23 guys will jump on here and get you set up !!!
Looking forward to seeing you on the water

How deep was the water? Just google "x23 surf settings" to find some good threads, but here's one that might help: https://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk...ad.php?t=75642

Yes it was lake elsinore. Looking into water depth I do remember him saying that we were in a shallow area of the lake during the time the wave felt really washed out. Also I remember you did a bit of surfing on the river. I know its quite shallow there, did you mainly stay down near bluewater where there was deeper water???

Yes that actually helps a lot... I believe we were in a shallow area of the lake so that could've been why. When we first started we were at the deepest part of the lake and the wave was much better.

We basically don't surf at Parker at all.
There's that short run from Bluewater up to where the houses start, then not so good
Your driver need to be very in tune with current vs boat speed.
They hold wake Surf contest there too ... so it can't be that bad

We surf at San V now. The river trips are just to cruising or relaxing
