Surf Profile Issues in new X26

I know there was an active thread re: surf waves getting smaller in the X26 potentially due to tab reset... I made this a different thread because I think my issues may be slightly different.

Our first couple runs last night were great. Then, after attempting to activate a profile, the system continued to revert to MANUAL and was unsurfable. The CRUISE indicator kept flashing between on and off. After several attempts to reactivate the desired profile with the same result, I cycled the battery switch.

It seemed that worked as the ballast tanks were adjusting for the new profile and then a minute later it reverted back to MANUAL - we had to bag the rest of our surf night.

As a new owner, I've been told these systems are very sensitive to depleted batteries and will freak out, but we had been running for an hour before this happened.

(I'm not sure if it's related, but I should mention I completed a stereo upgrade yesterday (I'll outline in a separate post) where I added an additional amp. I anticipated some battery depletion from having run the stereo fro tuning, etc. so i charged the batteries for 45 minutes before we hit the water...)

Any thoughts?

quite a few threads got Deleted when cleaning out the China hacker the other Day.
You may need to start over ...

Hopefuly some users can bring you up to date where that thread /fix left off.

HOWEVER this "The CRUISE indicator kept flashing between on and off."
suggest you have a different Promblem.
Please VIDEO this screen activity and send to your Dealer.
Nothing in your boat will make the CRUISE turn on or off by itself.
This is a POTENTIAL screen issue

I agree with taking the video of this issue.

For a couple of months I was having what I thought were electrical issues in my X26 and they kept telling me it was a battery issue. After I bought the charger and made sure it was always charged and the problems continued I took a video.

Needless to say the dealer sent it to MasterCraft and the dealer was on their way to pick up the boat. Turns out the fuse panel/breaker needed to be replaced with the battery switch as well. All of this done with the factory techs helping out and even one of their wakeboard pros being involved.

Thank you - I appreciate the insight. But not what you want to hear 2 weeks after taking delivery of a new boat!

Screen issue aside. What happens to the tabs is when someone falls and they you go back to get them most people will hit reverse, sometimes multiple times, to help the boat rotate around the rider, get into a better position, etc. each time you hit reverse the system is programmed to retract the tabs (assumes your going to keep going backwards and the donít want the tabs down while backing) and then you go forward and tabs redeploy. Problem is the tabs normally will redeploy a little farther each time resulting in the tabs being not where they are supposed to be.

Solution is to not hit reverse unless you really need to. Which is not really feasible. If you notice the wave flattening peering the tab percentage will likely help for that run. When you stop next time you need to reset all the tabs by raising them all to 0%. You might have whoever is riding verify that all tabs are back up. Then select another profile and start over.

Turning the boat will also reset the tabs.
