Yup you need to order a 2019 head unit and adapter cable..
Called for my SIL boat. Was hoping just a software update as well, but no luck

So insane to me that they wouldn't have made this a software update or make the original one be able to take updates. The head unit even looks the same. Not mention $800 is insane...love my system but this is disappointing for a system I paid basically 8k in options for.

I Agree my dealer quoted me $1100 to install the system update, not worth it in my opinion. I guess the lake will hear my tunes.

Are we sure there is no other way to get zone control to the tower speakers besides a $800 head unit? Maybe an aftermarket separate knob? Has anyone cracked the Klipsch zone control on the advanced audio package?

Maybe there is a way around it if someone can get photos of the 19 option. Also can run a different amp with zone control option for less then 800-1100?
