I have a 1989 Prostar 190 and have had it for 7 years. I have wet sanded and polished removed all old stickers and replaced with newer bigger version. Installed Perfect Pass GPS Speedo . Rebuilt rear seat to accommodate for skiing so no one steps on cushion. All new interior last year new carpet. powder coated ski pylon repainted all vent covers. Trailer installed all LED lights, made a stainless hinged license plate bracket, changed winch location for easier use and installed disc brakes because trailer never had brakes. I also have no plans in getting rid of it anytime soon.we use and enjoy the boat all weekend every weekend all summer long!

I have owned a Mastercraft since 1994. First one was a 1994 Prostar 205, then 2001 XStar ( same boat that is int he XT22 video), then a 2008 X2 and now a 2018 XT23. All of them have been great boats. I have done all the maintenance and repairs over the years as they were all very minor things. Im a believer!!

17 X23 owned for ~14 months. No mods other than lead wake.

18 1875 Lund owned for 4 months. More mods than you can imagine.

01 Lowe Roughneck 1760 bought new. Permanent aluminum and grassed duck blind, full kitchen minus the fridge and sink, lights, paint, dog ladder, you name it and it has probably been added. Gotta have things to do when it gets too cold to surf.

Before the MC's, my strategy on summer fun and fishing boats was to buy used 5 year old boat and sell at 10 yrs old. Generally was able to sell for close to the same money paid. That's the sweet spots on depreciation. Of course I poured thousands into those boats in upgrades and repairs, so I'm not ignant enough to think I actually broke even or made money on anything... Every boat is a loser on money and a winner on fun.

X10 since February....lol. So I don't have much to add here. I kept the last boat three seasons, and the one before that six seasons. I'm not scared of high hours at all, but I am scared of "one year" anything (electronics especially).

I picked this beauty up on Dec. 31, 2004 with my then 4 year son. He is now 18 years old and we still have the boat. Honestly, looks better than the day I got it. Love this sled.

My dad bought our 1997 Prostar 205 in 97, passed it down to me after graduating college. Still have it till today. No mods at all!

How long Have you had your boat?

Had my 07 x30 for 10 years.. she was a great boat and it was sad to see her go. Wanted to surf more and just got the x23. Only mods I did on the x30 was bling out the tower with pro tour red inlets and modified the hell out of the stereo
