It's going to be $1800 for a new teak one plus any hardware. I was rear ended last fall going slow and insurance replaced the whole thing.

I was away for 2wks, rained heavily, bilge pump drained the battery, water accumulated to about 3"- 4" above floor level, my best guess is that it put a lot of pressure on the pins holding the platform as the boat was looking to go down and platform stay up and they broke letting the platform go loose.

where was the boat, State, lake. It hasn't rained much in the Berkshires, Hope you had minimal damage due to the water in the boat. It will be covered by insurance assuming you have it. . I leave my boat moored too, 90 minutes away, and won't go more than a week without checking on it. I keep yearning for a lift

Shame it's not an xstar, I just butchered one. My last board with the grab handles cracked so I was going to replace just the one board. I called around and couldn't find 1 plank for less than $100 shipped.

When I found a local craigslist post about a swim platform I went running and got the whole thing for $100. The boards were much bigger than my 197 so I used it as spare wood.

That is unfortunate. I bet everything is OK in the boat once she dried out. Maybe the starter maybe will need to be lubed.

Out skiing this morning and in my 190 2 to 3 inches of water looks like it would be above the tranny dipstick so an oil change may be a goodles preventative measure

You need to call teak world. A replacement Swim platform in around 500 bucks from them. Then you just need to hunt for the brackets. I just replaced a platform for a 97 prostar and it was 500 plus shipping. Their customer service was excellent. Just email them.
