An amphibious tourist boat capeized this evening around 7pm on Table Rock Lake near Branson, Mo. 31 people were on board, they’re saying six fatalities at this time. Pease pray for all involved and for the rescue crews.

I was driving back from Wichita while this storm series was headed toward the Tri-Lakes area. I stopped for fuel near Pittsburg, Ks and checked the Doppler because I could see the storm to the North East of me. They had at least a 2-3 hour lead before the storm hit their area. Senseless to put tourism revenue above safety.
Prayers for those involved in this accident.

National news, so sad. Those storms are headed to Ohio today and make the day feel more ominous, prayers for the families of everyone involved.

Really sad. This video is terrifying. Ducks without enough power to get the nose up just slowly sinks. How scary.

The sad thing is this was 1000% avoidable. There should honestly be murder charges

Just saw video of it taken from Shoreline in a restaurant. Horrible feeling to watch it sink from a helpless view point.
So sad

I dont think we should jump to that. While there was a line of storms going over Missouri, there were also cells popping up out of nowhere. This could have been one of those situations. If you look on the horizon of the video its nice and light, so probably came much faster than expected, or completely out of nowhere.

Regardless of all of that, the guy's driving how he should be. Heading straight into the waves is about all you can do there, but it was just too much. I'm not sure how everyone on that boat didn't have a life vest on though.
