Additional ballast

Does anyone see a problem with putting additional ballast intakes in the bottom of my ski locker? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. It is nearly impossible to get under the motor in the back.

I think I have read on here where people have done this. You might want to check out the Ballast topic section while you wait on a reply here i think that may be where I found it.

It came up in discussions about plumbing fac sacs to the original pumps etc and some said they just drilled a new hole in the back of the boat.

I've never seen anyone add a through hull outside of the stringers. Your X45 should have plenty of room to add a few through hulls.
