Arrived in Ft Lauderdale, another rainy windy day.

Will be here until tomorrow evening, hopeful weather will break but doesnt look good. Keys look better but 15 knot winds forecasted so will be in the reef line or bay, regardless will be good!

I want to Thank Adam (wicker68), he allowed us to use his drive way for the boat. His CSX is behind the 45.

Westin on the Beach....still a beautiful view on a cloudy day!

Have you used your trailer in salt water before and if so, how has it held up?

Our trip was a success, had a great time in Islamorada relaxing and scuba diving the Hens and Chickens, Key Wes exploring Boca Grande, Marquessa's and Sand Key. Then ending the trip at Silver Glen springs on the St Johns with friends.

Our GPS showed that at the end of our adventure we traveled by boat 394 miles.

Everything needed for this trip was installed in a way that once the trip ended, I can remove all of the offshore needs and store....The VhF radio is mounted under the dash, the antenna mount used the same two holes on the cap to conceal wires by ski hook, the rod holders mounted to holes in the board rack tower, GPS is the only part I mounted for long term use.

Weather was blowing pretty good with seas running 1-3 depending on time and day. Last 2 days in Key West wind settled down and less than a foot. The X45 is a great riding boat in rough water!

Went fishing ended up about 18 miles off the coast off Key West but unfortunately only caught barracuda and bonita's. Still alot off fun trolling and catching fish.

Off the coast of Key West we ventured out to Boca Grande and as far as the Marquessa's, found many dolphin (not the fish). Was able to have them play with us while my wife was boarding/surfing (see pic). Great beach off Boca Grande where we spent the day.

Rick Hendricks (Nascar...Car dealership owner) yacht and sportfish were in the marina next to us. Left the boat at Conch Harbor marina, great facility.

Leaving the Keys, we passed a new nautigue G on trailer heading down, a Malibu and a Black and Yellow X45, so we arent the only adventurous Wake Boat owners.

Below are some of the highlight picture...

I have taken pictures in the past and had someone else notice something in the background that i did not see. And because you didn't mention it (and I would imagine most would have) and may not have noticed.... Is that a dolphin hitting the waves along with your bride?

He mentioned it -"Was able to have them play with us while my wife was boarding/surfing (see pic). Great beach off Boca Grande where we spent the day."

Awesome pictures and trip, we took a trip to the keys and stayed on Islamorada back in March and it was amazing. I'm super jealous that you got to include a MC in your adventure.
