Our new girl

So finally got the new girl on the water. As already discussed the new star handles like a champ. The black cool feel interior is not oppressive even in the 98 degree Alabama sun. Quick fill ballast is great, but I donít love sitting idle while draining. Surf wave is very good and I expect it to only get better as we tweak (using 400lbs of lead in the rear right now because no matter how I phrased it I kept getting bow weight/sunbathers). Wakeboard wake is great as expected.
Black water spots are driving me bonkers. Boat pulls to the right when driving at cruising speeds, not sure of this is normal or needs an adjustment. New sound system is very good in the boat, the Sound doesnít throw as well off the tower as my past systems IMO. I think I may have a loose connection on my ballast tanks as my mid bilge pump purges water from the boat quite often with no water coming in visually. So far only minor things that need fleshing out, I expect the first service will get them ironed out.

Babes waterspot remover (purple) for the spots and it becomes a non issue.

I hate Water Spots on Black....but I do Love Black!!!

I had that RIGHT pull on my G21 ...Drove me Nuts, in the Case of the G21 is was a Product wide trait in the G21, not just mine. I was attributed to the Large Prop and 2:1 trans.

Yours is the 1st Ive heard in the new Star...so hopefully its just an Adjustment. ?

Fill and Drain RPMs , MC/Ilmor need to do something moveing forward about the Alternator suppling current. The average user my not want to or even remember to idle while while draining ballast. Yet this is the Current only way to do so with have potential electronics hicups in the System.

As for the Klipsch, you seem to Echo what others are slowly discovering... Volumes limitations through DSP are Keeping sound clean and speakers Safe , but not always loud enough at operational Speeds.
Seems like the InBoat Speakers are a Hit, but the Towers need some work.
The Boat I listened too sounded Awesome, but that was on a Trailer... totally different on the Water in Motion.

SWEET RIDE!!! and CONGRATS!!

Thanks Larry, I also hadnít seen anyone else talking about the right pull. But figured with the size of that prop and rudder it may be a normal characteristic. Surfing it is straight as an arrow. Speeds around 16+...

Ive noticed some pull to the right. I fill left rear bag to compensate.

Agree the dsp is jacking with the stereo at speed.

Great new ride, and glad to hear about the cool interior actually working. Hard to believe at the boat shows haha.
