Broken Windshield = very bad night for me

Well, I hope everyone's night has been better than mine. Something bad, very bad, happened to my 1992 Prostar. I have spent countless hours on restoring it to not only be a kick butt slalom ski boat but to having it look good. Lets just say I'm attached to it now. I don't want to get into it too much but I had to leave the boat on a public lake while I used my trailer to haul another boat. While my boat was at the lake (no I didn't leave it unattended), it was tied up to the dock. This late in the season, there is no one up at the lake and very few people even pass by on the dock so I thought it was safe. I was away for about 3-4 hours and my watch person was on the shore, they could keep a close eye on the boat for me. I come back from my escapade, and back the trailer down, hobble on over to the dock (I broke my ankle 4 weeks ago, yep you guess it, waterskiing and still in a cast. Its another depressing story.) I walk up to my pride and joy and my gut dropped. The starboard window had been shattered. I look around and there are some people fishing and I ask them if they knew anything about it. Of course not. I load the boat on the trailer still speechless. Once I was clear of the ramp, I asked the person who was with the boat what happened to my window.

"What are you talking about? What window?"
Umm.. the window that is shattered.
The Oh $h!t face....."I didn't see anything"
Were you with the boat? Did anyone come down to the dock?
"Well there were some teenagers that went down to the dock."
And you didn't go check on the boat while they were down there?!?
"Well I didn't see anything wrong so I didn't go down."
You had one job. One job.

Needless to say I'm not happy. I know how hard it is to find a windshield for these boats because my friend, cfgunnell, just went through that on his 205. I don't want to pay $1500 for a new windshield, if I can even find a manufacturer to make it.

Does anyone know where I can get a quote for one? Possibly a 190 getting parted out? Any help would be appreciated. Help? suggestions? Did this 190 windshield only go from 1991-1994 or did it go beyond that?

Side note: Why do people have to be such dick heads. Seriously, who walks up to a boat and just smashes the window. What. The. Hell.

Yes, 91-94 are the same. People have used plexiglass and Lexan instead of the Taylor Made bank drain.

There have been a few users here that have had good luck with Ocean Dynamics. They've been much cheaper and fast then Taylor.

I'd keep looking, I've started to see lots of salvage boats for this hull style. There is one sitting in a field or junkyard somewhere with what you need. Just have to expand your search beyond MC and Ebay. I know of a 95 hull in a junkyard near me but not going to help you.
