Forward facing tower speakers

Any thoughts on turning 2 tower speakers around and having 2 rear facing and 2 forward facing? Cant really hear the music towards the front of the boat while moving. Thanks in advance

Do you have bow speakers? Are the in-boats on an external amp?

Seen several people do it on our lake, a few of them wake boats. Never been on one to know if it works or sounds good. You could also find a tower speaker that rotates so you have 2 rear facing always and 2 more that could face either direction.

Yeah i’m almost positive mine can rotate. I was wondering more if the wind blowing into them affected them in anyway .... and I do have bow speakers, I should have clarified, I cant hear my music while driving if I’m sitting or standing where my head is above the windshield bc of wind noise. I think the passengers in the bow can hear just fine.

Man, how fast are you going? At 23mph, I can hear my 6” Kicker cabin speakers loud and clear, and they are only driven by the head unit. And why on earth would you be standing when driving??? I hope you wear your safety lanyard...

I have always wondered about this as well. I can hear my kicker 6" but not like I would like.

I just installed a Fresh Air Exhaust on my LY6-equipped X25. Id rather hear my music than my engine. The difference is truly night and day. Actually tough to tell if the engine is running now. With just two in cabin speakers, I can hear them fine and can actually carry on a conversation while underway. There are a lot of $500 items in boating and the FAE is one of the most rewarding.
