Thanks, truly one of the most graceful animals I've ever seen; almost wolf like. Running with him is like running with a gazelle. He's had his balls removed but still could use a valuim at times.

Probably too much for a college student in a small apt eh?

He's spending a week or so with me, can you see where this is going?

Awesome dog and hes growing on me, just needs some discipline. If anyone has raised a malamute and has some tips let me know. I've never seen a dog with so much will!
I know I cant help you with training, sort of. My Husky (Kira's Midnight Star) is a good dog and will do the basics, sit, shake, laydown, and come..... when she is in the house or on the run. Now, if she gets lose then she doesn't even know who I am. Its sad that I have to keep her on the line all the time but huskies are 'flighters' and love to run, which I understand. Maybe if you can get that out of him before he gets too old... Good Luck!!

Updated Picture of our Kira... She lays in the snow even though the deck is cleared.

Beautiful dog! Gotta love the looks of these dogs.
Yes my daughter has experienced the "flighter" episodes where she goes to college which the danger is abduction or cars, but we live near Charleston and my flight danger is the river which he loves water and there are plenty of gators. Dogs just seem to serve themselves to them gators!

Well, we ended up getting our boxer a girlfriend last week. Rescued from a neglected home at 5 months old. A little under weight and irritable, but we are working on that. Here are some quick shots, we had. I'll try to get some more loaded up

That pic was from when we lived in Breckenridge, CO. His shoulders feel like my knees in the morning.
