Thanks, I'll go with the 77 after verifying it isn't getting over 150 degrees F in that location. I think that's what 77 is rated for. My 1994 has the ECU on the side of the engine so I'll keep a hat on the engine. I seem to recall reading JimN say they moved the ECU higher in 2005 to get it further from water.
