We have a 1983 or 84 g1 for 6 years. Still use the oil injection. Never had an issue with it. You will have a hard time finding a rear seat unless it already has one.

I premix in all my stuff. Just not willing to trust that injector. Who knows when it will stop working.

What mixture are you guys running in the old golf carts? I’m still using the oil injection but I’ve often worried about it failing. I’ve seen ratios on the internet ranging from 128:1 to 40:1 depending on the carts usage. I’ve owned the cart about ten years and I can go through two tanks of gas and I have to add very little oil to the reservoir…but I still top it off every time.
