Engine Alarms

I have a 2001 Sammy Duvall. Iím experiencing issues with my gauges. Is it safe to run the boat, relying on the engine alarms, while I sort out the gauge problem? Itís my temp and oil pressure gauges that are not working.

Your gauge issues could be anything; faulty gauges, senders, or MMDC. There are very good threads on these issues and how to diagnose or eliminate. Google search "Mastercraft boat deleting MMDC", it will bring you right to this website.

As for running the boat without those gauges working, your choice. There was just a thread in maintenance "general" about this same issue. It's your risk, some take the risk some don't.
