You mention having a spare computer/code 5 keypad. What is the computer/code 5 keypad?

To the left of the depth finder is the Code 5. Push Button ignition - no keys to keep up with, they came standard on the 93 Limited. Small little ECU that goes behind the dash, connects to the keypad via a cable and screw on pin connector. buttons numbered 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and 9/0. Two red buttons at the bottom.

5/6 number is the ignition after you put in your code. One red kills the boat, two red - you have to put the code back in. Not sure when they went out of business of quit making it. The one below is listed for a twin engine. You can still find them every now and then.

Thanks, If the switch is pooched it appears it wouldn't be hard to replace with a new switch and key. Are you aware of anyone who has done that?

No but it would be easy. I bought the spare for $65 on Ebay about 2 yrs ago. I do have a spare switch and key also, just in case.

I took mine out and replaced it with a regular key

I don't think it is sold yet.

I saw the boat on the weekend and have made, what I think, is a generous offer. He says he will get back to me by the end of the week.
