1999 X-Star Excellent Condition 513 Hours

I am looking to upgrade from my 1999 X-Star now that I have some experience wake surfing/wakeboarding. I am the third owner of the boat and have taken extremely good care of it. Oil changed every 25-40 hours depending on how hard it was run. Just changed the transmission fluid. Boat is kept in climate controlled garage. I put stabilizer in it during the winter and take it out about once a month to cruise around since we only live about 6 minutes from the boat ramp. Boat is located in Acworth GA.

Vinyl - 9/10 - there are 2 small cuts where i dropped the bimini top it. (Still has bimini top, it is in good condition, just laying in the boat in the pics) There is some slight staining but nothing more than turning the white slightly off white

Fiberglass 9/10 - There are two areas in the rear of the boat that I believe are from the original tower that the owner had upgraded. I have the paperwork from this. Other than that you will not find another 18 year old boat in this condition.

Carpet - 7/10 - No tears but there are some stains in different places, mainly in the compartments

Trailer - 7/10 - All bearings were re-packed and master cylinder replaced 2 years ago. Since then it has had about 30 trips to the lake (6 miles each way) One step board is missing and all of them could use re-carpeting. The actual boat carpet looks fine though.

The only two things wrong with the boat are that the fuel gauge sometimes sticks and the two areas on the back of the boat discussed above. I have pictures of them below.

3 Mastercraft ballast bags, 2 pumps, and a homemade wakegate goes with the boat. Setup correctly this boat puts out a great wave or wake.

Asking $20,500 for boat with trailer.

Any questions just ask! 678-986-6227

Good looking clean ride. The Arctic blast certainly hasn't helped your cause. From my historical perspective of selling boats in the off season, you will get a few bites between now and the boat show and you will start getting a decent flow of leads following. PATIENTS is key in the winter.

negative temps make it harder.. someone has to buy without a water test... hard too.. price... IMO about right for April/May maybe a bit high now... if you are in a hurry you would have to get to the mid to upper teens this time of year.. if not... spring is only 90 days away or sooner if you are south of the mason Dixon line

you would likely get close to that price in April/May... January of super cold air... not so much..

Price maybe a tad high, but if you're open to negotiating I'd leave it as is unless you have to move it quickly. The price is comparable with 205Vs, but the '99 model has less seating in the back (which also means less storage) and it doesn't look like the rear ballast bags are plumbed in. That being said, the care/quality is fantastic and the tower is better than the jungle-gym style tower that most pre-'01 X Stars have.

Real tough time of year to sell older boats, in my experience. Different market than those looking for newer used boats. 19 years ago I was selling my tristar. Listed in January. No bites at all during the winter and sold it to a friend in early April. By late April, early May, I had dozens of responses to the boat. I'm not comparing your '99 X-Star to my tristar directly. Just sharing my impression of the market. I wouldn't drop the price due to inactivity.
