What do you guys use?

My boat came with black electrical tape around the ballast connection clamps. Iím tired of the gooey mess the tape makes over time!!

Do you guys cover your metal clamps?
If so, what do you use???

TIA!!!

I dont use the worm gear clamps, so nothing to cover. The best clamp, is a stainless pinch clamp, which requires a sub $10 crimper. next best, I like the glass reinforced nylon pinch clamps. No sharp tails to cut sacs or fingers with these two options.

If you want to keep the work gear clamps, heavy duty heat shrink works well. Just have to remove the hose in order to slip the HS on.
