Looking for idea on boat value Prostar 205

Hi,

This may be a difficult question to answer, but I'm looking to get an idea of the value of my current boat to quote a price for an interested person. It's a 1996 Prostar 205 with 500 hours. LT1 320hp engine. It is in immaculate condition...always garaged...never docked...
some people see it and think it is new. Options include wake tower with speakers, fiberglass swim platform and tandem trailer (with brand new tires). A picture is below. Thanks for any suggestions.

I paid 14K for a 1994 ProSport 3 years ago. It had low (330) hours but was not nearly as nice as your board nor did it have the options yours has.

Truthfully I did not shop around as much as I could have so likely did not makethe best deal.

I would say 16K would be very reasonable for your boat.

Are those 500 hours in the driveway on the fake-a-lake? that boat looks like it hasn't touched the water.....very nice and good luck with the sale.

Hi,

I just (2 months ago) bought the same boat, same color, same condition etc. Mine has 310 hours on the LT1 engine but no tower and a single axel trailer. Everything else looks the same.

I paid $12,500. So that's a good starting point. I know the tower is 1 - 3k depending on make, so I would say somewhere in the 13 - 14 range. Does it have perfect pass?? That's the only option that I see myself wanting right now.

If he wants a 2nd Generation 205 with a tower and a tandem trailer (some people don't want these two options), I'd say 16K on up given that it has an LT1. The boat looks like it is in very good condition.

Quick question though, what happened to the Airguide Speedo that was originally on the left?

I just paid $14,900 for a 2000 with 248 hours on it, but it doesn't have a tower. Mine isn't in quite as nice of shape as yours but it is close. Don't give it away these are some of the best boats you can buy. I probably would have paid 16K for your boat several weeks ago with it in as nice of shape as yours appears to be.

I got $13,500 for my 96 190, LT1, 500hrs, ND tower, racks, bimini, crappy stereo, no PP, trailer tires shot, no battery, no spare prop, repaired swim deck, everything else cherry, last winter, so I'd say $16k +.

i'd spend a few bucks and put a MC tire cover on the spare. boat looks super clean. not sure on the details with the year or the motor, but the hull is desirable for sure. at least here. good luck with the sale. that will make someone very happy.
