Does a 750lb ballast fit in the rear locker of a 2012 X25

I was wondernig if a 750lbs ballast would fit in the rear locker of a 2012 Mastercraft x25.

Should I go for a 600 pouds of even a 455 ?

THank you in advance.

The 750 won't fit in the rear locker, at least not without holding less than 750#. The rear facing seat takes up a portion of the rear most section of the locker, so the actual storage volume is L-shaped - higher around the opening, then drops in height to go under the seat. I've occasionally put a 750 back there and it doesn't cause any short term problems. It just conforms to the space available. I don't know if that would put too much stress on the rear seat if done repeatedly (I doubt it). My bigger concern would be the fuel filler tubes. I don't have my boat in the driveway to go look, but I do recall one time being concerned that the filled bag was putting pressure on those fuel lines, which made me uncomfortable. If nobody chimes in with specific locker measurements, I'd suggest calling wakemakers and see what they recommend.

I just switched out my 750 for 600's. They are 10 inches shorter. Haven't tried them yet, but they should be better. Wakemakers says the 600's are the right size.

I just ordered the X-Star custom bags listed on wakemakers website. They are the same 40" length as the sumo 600 but slightly wider and taller (22x22 as opposed to 20x20 sumo). I know they won't quite fill to the 720 lb capacity but should be close. Theses were recommended by wakemakers so I'll see how well they fill the locker and let you know.

Even if the 750 won't completely fill, it is the least expensive option.

I have 750's in my Maristar 200VRS and they fill about 90%
