I was into it as a kid and now that I have a 3 year old, have all kinds of excuses to have cool toys again . "We" bought a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 and have slowly but surely been customizing it into something pretty cool. You guys won't believe how cool these things are since the days when we had them as kids. Hit up youtube and search traxxas brushless, sit back and enjoy.

"Our" truck is a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 (brushed to start) with a body leveling kit, led front lightbar, rpm led tail light kit (complete with a 3d printed mount I designed/made), and we upgraded to a Venom 50c lipo battery. The next step is a brushless motor / speed control, but it really goes already with the lipo battery and I am going to give my son a little more time to practice before we go all in.

I have had all sorts of RC cars, trucks and boats. Used to race in a league for years. Now just play with them now and then. Have some old electric stuff and a Nitro Revo 3.3 4x4 truck.......

This is my Traxxas Nitro Rustler. I agree - they are too much fun to play with. I have a Revo 3.3 on my short list for my next one although a DJ Phantom Quadcoptor is calling me as well. Decisions, decisions...
