To think that house in 1995 probably went for 220k. I made a killing on my house that was only 1250 sqft that I bought for 140k in 95 and sold for a considerable profit. Love the housing bubble!

If I had 600K and a job in San Dog it would be a done deal. I have to finish my time in Mayport and retire before I can explore coming back.

My 230 VRS will do 49-50 by GPS at 5150 rpm which is WOT, with an Acme 847 prop with just me in the boat. With the stock cast OJ it came with, it would do 46 at 5050. Bill Weeks at Acme is concerned that I'm at or a little above the recommended RPM, so he want's my prop back to put a little more cup in it, which he predicts will get my RPM's down a little and my speed up a little.

You are at the appropriate WOT assuming you have the MCX engine, but your speed is way slow. Your speedometer must be off, or you have some serious abnormal drag on your hull, or it's a weight problem. Usually, the method is to find a prop that gets you into the mfgr's recommended WOT RPM, but you're already there, so I doubt that re-propping will get you that 8 mph you're missing. I'd first check your speedo by GPS. If it's true, I'd look at the hull for abnormalities, and then I'd go weigh the boat.

I have the 5.7 crusader 330 hp. Im getting 5030 rpm. On GPS im getting 39-40 mph, but I have to figure in the current in the channel.
Also I think MC changed the prop on the 07 to a higher pitch, but I will have to check when I get home. What hp and pitch props are you guys runnin with your rtp and mcx's.

Top Speed

I know this is old now, but I was looking up to see top speed of my newer used boat... 2003 Mastercraft X2. I confirmed 47 with a GPS, no ballast, and 5 passengers and gear in mostly clean water, and I still have more throttle to go... I'd guess 52 would be top speed.

I am going to see what prop I have and maybe this is the reason, to high of a pitch, but it still reaches 5050 rpm's.
Did you buy this boat from Bay Area Watersports?? I was looking if not I was looking at its twin earlier in the year, 08 new boat warranty was demo use only right...
