Not many of these around. They were only made for a couple of years and became the Prostar 195/X5. (I had a 2001 X5.)
More info and pics would help your sale -- sides/bottom of hull, dash, engine, trailer, props, etc. The more the better.
Why the bent valve?

Thank you for the feedback. As far as I know it's the only year for open bow and the 5.0 together. Unfortunately I'm having issues uploading certain pics from the phone right now. I will try to find time soon to do it from the computer or I can send them directly to anyone interested. It's hard to get really good pics with it tucked in a garage. The next warm day it will come out for a wash and better pics. There's really not much to photo, very few and minor chips and scratches for the age. I'm not sure about the valve, mechanic says it could have been some debris that got stuck in there. I just noticed last fall it was running rich and took it to get tuned up in January. He found low compression from the bent intake valve throwing off the ECM. With work schedules changing I'm just not running it much anymore.
I am also currently having some "custom" slip on seat covers made out of terry cloth to help cover the spit vinyl until it can be redone.

Ha! Yes it is. That was one of those "it was a good idea at the time" things.
That was supposed to hold me over until I could have all the vinyl done instead of just pieces.

I had a 99 OB with the 5.7L. I loved that boat and wish I had not sold it. It's the perfect size for a small garage. Great ski and wakeboard boat.

Again, everything works. Three little holes in the carpet, and a seam coming apart. The hull pics are the three worst spots beside a few minor scratches from dock rubs and such.
