not having anything to move the boat around with the last little bit has been kind of a drag too, since we've had really nice weather a couple weekends already!

Excellent choice on the Colorado. My good friend just purchased ZR2 but he went with the gas V6. He ordered his and has to wait 3 months.

Can't wait to see pics.

Looks awesome, Dave!! How do you like towing with the 8 speed? I am hearing great things about the 10 speed and really trying to hold off test driving one.

So far I have been happy with the 8 speed. There are a lot more shift points but I think it make the truck a lot faster. It has a lot more low end grunt and I find it really handles the X23 a lot better from a stationary position than the 6 speed.

It takes some getting time getting used to the shifting but overall I'm very happy. I bet the 10speed will only be an improvement. I contemplated waiting for the 2019s, but I would rather wait and let them work out the kinks in the first year.
