Question Beep 3000 rpm thats it! MCX 2005 Xstar

Boat motor limits itself to 3000 rpm. starting from dead stop to wide WOT will rev to 3500rpm then back to 3000rpm, temp 135deg, oil 80psi. I checked wiring from temp sensors, seems ok. motors sounds fine and pulls nice until 3000 rpm the beep from rpm gauge, then limited rpm.

Any ideas?

- Just sitting here thinking could the perfect pass turn on automatically? i will check tomorrow.
- Temp sensor telling the emc the the motor is below 103deg? there for limiting to 300rpm
