I pulled the screws to match the threads and bent the prongs in the parking lot in case I had to purchase a few more.

OK I received my grommets from MI_Corey and here are the pictures of the finished product installed on my 06 X-9. What an easy fix with these grommets. Such a shame that Mastercraft did not come up with a fix like this and just go ahead and do it for all registered owners of affected models without even having to question it. It took me about an hour of my time and cost me $20 out of pocket. It is better now than when it was new. Don't know what anyone else found but I also found there is a bolt on the panel that is at rear center and goes through side wall and should have a but and washer on it to help support the panel but mine did not so that also contributed to the problem. Another simple 20 cent fix.

Oh yeah and a great big THANK YOU to MI_Corey for coming up with this fix and taking the time to make it available to the rest of us. That is why I would and always have owned a Mastercraft..... The other people who I have met or just interacted with in one way or another since the first day I bought my first one in 1991 .......
