89 Pro Star Side "Wing" Window

My local dealer has an original "wing" window from an 89 Pro Star. Obviously, Taylormade didn't make a ton of these and certainly isn't making them any longer.

What do you think it's worth to someone who needs it?

A small fortune.

Someone with an '89 should buy it just to keep it in stock. Is there a left and right or are they the same?

I thought the wing window was only on the 87?

I think it's just one. It does not appear to be the one that lifts up. He described it as "wing" based on its shape, but it looks like side glass (one piece). I have double checked with him on that point.

I believe this is an '89. Looks about right.

Aren't those pieces just flat with the odd shape? From my recollection of my '88 I think so. If so it would be an easy piece for any glass shop to cut.

It appears to have hardware mounting holes in the glass. I think that would make it an '87.

I assume it came off a boat. He may have misread the HID. He is one of the owners of the local Correct Craft Dealer. So he doesn't know the finer points of an 87 versus an 89 MC apart from the fact that he has a pretty rare piece of windshield glass he would like to sell to someone in need.

PM me if you need this and I will put you in touch with them or look up Ski N Sports, Tyler TX. Call them, and ask for Shannon. Tell them Doug sent you. I don't get a cut, but they treat me well, and I like them to know that I am trying to return the favor.
