There has been a mixed bag of reviews on timbersleds. Backcountry riders say they lack power in comparison to sleds. And then when you turbo them the fuel efficiency drops like a stone and you can only can a couple hours of riding out of a tank.

Curious to hear your thoughts in comparison to riding sleds (assuming you have experience on those too).

Thank you!

I am heading back to the mountain now and will respond later. Thanks for flipping my pic guys.

We are taking YouTube sensation Shonduras to the mountains today so if you follow him he will also have a cool summary. I will share for those that donít follow.

Ok- I rode for 2 full days in Sandpoint ID. All I can say is these things are amazing. All my previous experiences have been on a Snowmobile and I have never driven a dirt bike. The learning curve was short if you know how to use a clutch. We were going places that I would never have gone on a sled. Amazing in the technical areas like trees and sidehilling. I never felt like I was underpowered. We were riding in 2í of fresh powder. Is it equal to a 160hp sled experience? Maybe not in some conditions but wow I was amazed. All in I would rather do this than ride a sled because I enjoy exploring in the steep trees and these were easier to ride. Try it out for sure. I know there are some areas that you can rent the full bike set up. I found one in Utah for example. If you have more questions PM me.

Hooligan's Boat

Hooligan apparently went to a Nautique and has his boat listed for sale in MN. I hope he was able to make the exhaust rumble as loud as he pleased and appreciated his "freedom of expression" as an American!
