ILMOR 10-20 hr service

What are people paying for the first service on their ilmores? What does it consist of? Has anybody done it themselves? Feedback would be appreciative.

Wow...and the oil changes on these things only take about 15 minutes. Good money!

I was quoted 450 Australian for a 75hr service. Was never going to get it done at the dealer. Mechanic myself and the ilmor motors are an awesome setup for servicing.

I was going to ask this same question, but found your thread. I just dropped off my boat and they quoted $450 for the 10 hour service (oil change). 2 hours at $159/hour and about $100 in materials plus taxes and fees... That seems out of control

Exactly what I paid. Special CA pricing I guess. Have to have dealer do the 1st one for warranty.

Same here.

As others have stated, I would let the dealer do the first one just as a peace of mind. I do basic things on mine (oil change, impeller, etc), but will always let the dealer handle pretty much everything else until the warranty coverage expires.
