Center Tab X2

I am thinking of adding a center tab to my 2010 X2 with MCX. My thoughts are that it will greatly help me plane out when I am fully loaded down wakeboarding but I was also thinking it might slightly clean up the surf wake. Anybody have any experience with a center tab on an x2?

I have factory center tab. I play with it but always end up trimmed up fully. I personally don't see much value to it.

I also have a 2010 X2 and added the center tab last year. I love how I can trim down in rough water. It definitely helps to bring the nose down when weighted heavily in the stern. Also made the waterski wake have less of a lip which helps. I won’t have another boat without a center tab.

I have a 2010 with the Center tab and gen1 tabs. We use the Center tab quite a bit in rough water like kcrich mentioned. We don’t ski with the X2 much so can’t really comment on what it does to the wake at ski speeds.

It will definitely help you get on plane when loaded down, only issue is you will have to manually raise and lower it each start. I can't comment on the surf wave effect.
