I wasn't able to get out there for this weekend, but from the looks of a Mississippi Whitetail Facebook page, the deer were moving like crazy. Im hoping this winter weather really helps change the deer patterns.

Slalom, you didn't get any hogs?

Nope, they were not around this weekend. Not even on game cam.

I had the yearling doe come out at last night, I'd rather she grow up and produce so I let her walk.

One of my buddies saw 2 spike bucks, both too young to shoot.

It is! Heading to Sweden in mid October for a moose hunt. Funny thing is the license was only $35!! I pay 5x that to chase spike horns with my family in da UP of Michigan.

Could the hurricane have anything to do with it?

Or, Chupacabra.

Opening day of dove season. Not many birds flying that day but it's always a great day hunting when you get to share the field with your daughters. This is my youngest. It's a good deal when you can pass down the passion for shooting sports to your kids.

My favorite time of year. Got the plots tilled this weekend and will be planting in a few weeks.
