Going down now (our dock was under water this AM and an inch or so above now.) I'd be concerned that it will still be high enough tomorrow for wakes to wreak havoc on yards, seawalls, lower docks, boats, etc. Not too mention there are likely to be a lot of floating sticks, maybe even logs, picked up from normally dry land.

If anyone is interested, the "7th Annual Lake Anna Glow Party" is going on this Saturday, August 4th, at the main sandbar up past Tim's. Starts at dark! I haven't been before, I've always had conflicts, but I've heard it's a great time!

My wife's birthday is Sunday... thinking of making the trip up there. Anyone with some experience with the party?

I'll finally be there this Saturday with my wife and a couple friends. One of my friends who lives on the lake is one of the hosts and we're crashing with him that night.

Would be cool to get a few MasterCrafts together for this! We're heading out a little early around 7pm to get some good spots.

Never heard of the glow party, but hardly ever go south of Hunter's/The Cove. Sounds like fun.

Apparently the algae is bad for you but I told the kids not to drink the water. Saw plenty of pollen near us but no blooms. More info coming this week I believe.

Algae gone

We were out yesterday, anchored at Three Islands just before Dyke 1. Water is super clear again, could see my feet from shoulder-depth.

Also, lake is nice and full!!!! Awesome to see that this time of year with the late-summer we are having. Will be skiable until October this year. Water at the Islands was 78-80 degrees at 5:30 PM.

SWEET!
