OT: I had too. It matches My X-Star.

Never really liked Waverunners...those little f'ers always trying to jump my wake, even with a boarder/surfer in tow. Nevertheless, bought a '05 a few years back to aid with kiteboarding (pick-ups, accessing launch sites, etc.). We live in a very high wind area so the X-Star goes unused many weekends in the Summer due to high winds. Anyway, I found myself using the Waverunner for more and more for exploring rivers and other shallows that my boat can't reach or when it's too windy to be out with my boat (and we're not out flailing at kiteboarding). It proved to be fun and had a lot of utility. Well, this season I was going to buy a Slingshot wake foil. However, the water toy well just went dry (pick it up tomorrow):

I agree I need a foil. But, my wind is different than your wind I suspect (not my pic, but my river):

W25+ not uncommon during Summer. Sometimes gusts 50+. Winter, when it comes out of the East, well it can get down right insane. Seems any weekend when I want to bring out the MC, it looks like above and, of course, it's glass mid-week.

Gotcha. Yea, I'm still getting my asre kicked on a twin tip. A kite foil is a long long long way off.

Holy mother of utter stupidity. Wife and kids, kids mind you, were giving me grief over purchasing a second Waverunner. In a rare moment of adulting, I realized they were right. With checks in hand, I decided not to get the new Waverunner. Kinda bummed about it, but kinda okay with it too. Frankly, that money would pay for a transaxle for my big project. Already took the day off, so figured I'd get some work done on it instead or traipsing around the PNW getting a new trailer and ski . First time it has stood on its own feet. This is what we do some of the time when not on the water (and in Baja). She's right about the number of toys already...perhaps. Thanks for letting me play through.
