I'll sell my '05 XStar for $49.5k and that includes shipping anywhere in the 48 states.

The 2004-2012 xStar's never had any sort of TAB system on them.

Ummm....i believe gen 1 surf was a factory option for 2010 and 2011. Although i doubt it did much. GSA makes the boat much more surf friendly. You dont need to run much front weight at all and you dont need to lean the boat. 3750lbs of weight with a small crew, or 3k lbs with a large crew works well. Goofy side works well too.

Yup, Boat Town in Austin has an 11' Parks Xstar with power tower and Gen1 tabs on the lot currently.

Ok well I know some think I am stupid but brought it home. Everything seemed to work except I have ballast gauges issue and the speedometer is intermittent, otherwise it ran good. That is what the one year warranty it for. We played with the wakeshaper and also used the additional 800lb fat sack. Got a pretty good wave we all surfed but Im a rookie and probably not doing something right. This was only my 4 time to surf, so playing with the speed and ballasts. Just an excuse to get back out there soon.

I appreciate all the advice even from those thinking I made a mistake. It is a pretty boat in great condition and we are going to have lots of fun.

I am happy to be back in the mastercraft family again.

Oh, my ballast gauges have never read true since I got mine in '09. I just fill them until they puke and drain until they stop. Got a pic of your rudder?
