I have a friend that has the Mission Delta wakeshaper device.

Since its easy to attach, I'm going to test and document:

1. Just the device- No Gen2
2. Compare that to Just Gen2 (No device)
3. Going to test a combination of the 2 systems.

Should be interesting

I promise you if a delta worked better than gen 2 it would be on boats from the factory. No shaper I've ever rode compares to gen 2

Im not saying Gen2 isn't better. In fact it better be since I shelled out the $$$ for it.

Several good brands of surf boats went horizontal. Did they go that way because that was the only way to do it that wasn't under patent?

I have surfed behind Mastercrafts with Gen2, Wake-Shaper, Rosewell, and DIY shapers. The principle in creating the best wake is about water displacement, with weight being equal Gen2 throws a longer and taller wake with a ton more push, but $4K.......for my budget we put a Rosewell Deflector wake shapers about 20-30" up the side of the boat from the platform, a Wake-shaper mounted to the platform - $800.........all setups we are using about 1,800 - 2,000 pounds of weight equally split in the back of the boat.....great wake about 3' shorter than the Gen2 of clean glassy face on the wake.............
