Curious... has anyone come up with a shape that can be flipped over and used on the other side? It would be even more convenient if a single device could be used on both port and starboard sides of the boat.

I had a plan for that one but haven't built anything since the season ended and the boat was put away. I'l see if I cant find it.

OK so I don;t know where I saved that exact design but it was a play off this one where the red across the swim deck is the base and the gate is simply removed and connected on the other side. The attachment was a removable hinge.... and the spring loaded deal was what kept it in place.
