Looking to buy a 2007 x-15 or 2011 x-1

Looking to purchase one of these. Need some work, but wanted to know if this was a good deal and the pros and cons of each. Price is pretty good. Want to surf on them so wanting to know how they surf. Any input would be great.

Thanks.

X15 is a much better surf boat with substantially more room. X1 is a much better wakeboard boat with better crossover ability and drives much more like a ski boat. Both are good but their strong points are different.

Have you looked at both boats?
One is about the most room yo can get in a 21' boat and the other is the least room you can get in a 21' boat.

I'd sway towards the X15. But, really, it all depends on what you are wanting to do with it.

Pretty much sums it up.

X1 surf wake will never be as good as the X15. The X15 wakeboard wake will never touch the X1 wake. Decision is easy here. Forget you even thought about an X1 and find yourself an X15

It handles rough water better , has a more adjustable wake due to the attitude plate option, holds more peeps , holds more gear , has more room , has more storage, and holds more ballast. The only reason to opt for the X1 is if you are a pure wakeboarder who wants one of the best wakeboard wakes ever produced

I'm guessing the x1 will ski better too. In case anyone still skis.

Both are pretty close in ski wakes. The 15 with the plate allows you to flatten it out nicely. Arguably a non issue.

I'd go X15 for all the reasons mentioned already.
