Im in FL -Sarasota area. Viper is in 5820 US Hwy 411 South, Maryville TN 37801. 865-388-4096. Carl did my all my upholstery. Jim Anderson is the owner. Quote was around 2,500 but seat remake and all new foam everywhere took it to closer to 3K. 3k seems to be about what all other shops that might be comparable for a complete redo. Doesnt matter which materal you pick- retro on new wave. . But to have a former Mastercraft guy do it, It came out right.
There are a couple of folks on this site that pooh pooh Viper- seems like a personal thing. I was very happy. Wing

Pylon swivel bearing replacement

If anyone has a lead on where I can find a replacement Nylon swivel bearing for the stock Mastercraft Slalom pylon would appreciate any help. To date have not been able to find one. Who made the pylon for the 1998 MC 205?? Thanks

Engine rebuild- the redo continues

Ok folks. after some time away from the forum enjoying the boat. Had a little issue of over heating resulting in blown head gasket - blowout bubbles of coolant. after 6 months af farting around changing every component known to man. Tore engine apart - Did head gasket job, heads milled and checked. Put them back on and same issue. So gonna go with a long block here in the near future. After taking heads back off- revealed perforated cylinder wall and some scoring. Block has some 3000 hours (rebuilt about 300 hrs ago and is .30 over so gonna go long block. Will keep you updated with pictures!! Yehaaahhh. Wingnut
