4 stroke torque?

2 vs 4 strokes, who has more torque?

Doesn't matter 2 or 4 stroke, it's all in the stroke of the engine that makes torque.

Small bore and long stroke means torque, low end grunting pulling work.

Big bore and short stroke means RPMS, RPMS are a requirement to building HP. But RPMS are not a requirment for tq.

Apples to apples, 2 stroke wins every time in it's power to weight ratio, and volumeteric efficency, they flat out breath better. Where they always lose is in MPG's and emissions.

Kinda depends what the engine is designed for!

You would think that is the case. When I ordered my X23 I did not really want the Surf Edition sticker on the side of the boat, however MC would not allow me get the surf edition without the sticker. I even offered to pay more for them not to put something on......

The problem with the Seven Marine Engines is the Weight. I would like to know how much weight the Transom mounts will hold because the 7Marine is about 300-400 lbs heavier.

Won't be footin' behind that... I am out.

Sanger has THE market for barefoot tournament boats. Why train behind something that is not tournament ready or approved for that matter...

Barefoot skiing is such a small niche market anyways, MC did their research and went for the better sales market.

I understand why but I'm really disappointed they went with the four stroke. The two stroke Optimax would have been the better water ski application. Hopefully they will have that as an option when building one.

Tournament Barefooting is comprised of 3 events scored by Judges riding in the boat. The 3 are:

Tricks- Just as it sounds the skier is judged on degree of difficulty and number in a given time.
Slalom-Both front and back, the number of times the skier can cross the wake in a given time.
Jump-distance jumped over a small barefoot ramp, most men go inverted or "superman style"

Also figure 8 man against man bracket elimination. The skiers typically start on a single ski and drop by the opening gates. The boat is then driven is a figure 8 pattern until 1 skier drops or falls

And finally endurance racing. Teams race typically down a river and ski as long as each skier can to accomplish a team effort of skiing a great distance as fast as possible.
